Aadil Abbas Khan, formally known as Ghulam Haider Khan is a promising young vocalist from the prestigious Rampur Sahaswan Gharana of Hindustani Classical Music. Born on 1st March 2003, he carries forward a rich musical legacy that traces its origin to the great Miyaan Tansen, one of the Navaratnas in Emperor Akbar’s court.


He began is training at a tender age, under the tutelage of his illustrious father, Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan, as well as the guidance of both his legendary grandfathers - Padma Shri Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan (Paternal grandfather) and Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan (Maternal grandfather). He has also received valuable artistic advice from his elder brother, Ghulam Hasan Khan, an established young Hindustani Classical Vocalist.


Trained rigorously under this lineage, Ghulam Haider Khan’s gayaki reflects the essence of the Rampur–Sahaswan style: marked by purity of raag, clarity of taan, intricate layakari, and emotional depth. His singing is distinguished by a blend of technical finesse and soulful expression, making him a powerful young voice of the gharana.

In addition to Khayal, his repertoire extends to Thumri, Tarana, Ghazal, and Sufi music, reflecting both versatility and sensitivity. His performances balance the rigorous discipline of classical tradition with the expressive beauty that appeals to diverse audiences.
